Emily offers screenwriting consultation to help writers strengthen their female characters and their script's representation of marginalized groups. She works on all types of film projects to help them appeal to a wider audience that responds to positive and realistic depictions of women on-screen.

Emily Ann Scott is an award-winning screenwriter specializing in women-centered work. Her scripts and films have been selected to numerous festivals, including the Broad Humor Film Festival, the Hollywood Hills Screenplay Competition, and the Les Femmes Underground Film Festival. Her original comedy pilot, The Character, was named a semi-finalist at the Los Angeles Cinefest, and her comedy web series REPRESENT is currently in competition at the Broad Humor Film Festival.
Emily specializes in comedy, but has experience in many other genres, including drama, science fiction, and horror. Dialogue is one of her strongest points as a writer, and her commitment to women's representation in film shows through the complexity of her female characters.
