Hello, friends!! I hope everyone is staying safe and sane inside during the COVID-19 crisis. I'm grateful to be inside with plenty of food, TP, and time to write. In the last week and a half, I've finished a draft of a feature and an hour-long pilot, so the extra time stuck at home is being put to good use! Also, we've been ramping up for my web series's release next week! The first three episodes of REPRESENT will be premiering online on Friday, March 27 (#femalefilmmakerfriday)! That's right - the thing I've spent HOURS and hours of time on, that was made through the love of a billion people who helped me, that I've been working on for, at this point, years? It will be on your laptop screen in, like, a week. WILD, right?
As the day gets closer, I get more and more nervous. But ultimately, what really matters is not who likes what we made and who doesn't. What matters is that we made it. That's huge. That's a leap of faith. It's an act of hope. And it's gonna be incredible, whether a million people watch it, or just my mom and my therapy group (who promised me they would, so don't back out now, Sarah*!)
Love you all! Stay healthy out there! *I do have a real therapy group who promised to watch, but none of them is named Sarah. I'm not about to break confidentiality, y'all!

I am so happy that you are still making content, even during this trying time. It is hard for me to think of a way for us to do this, but that is why I respect you too much. I hope that you continue to do this. There is not a lot that we can do, but it is inspiring that there is something that you guys can do.
