Last night, at the last screening of the San Jose International Short Film Festival, Popped was screened as one of the entries for the festival's Three-Day Film Challenge. At the end of the night, after a vote, Popped was named the Audience Choice Award for Scariest Film! Below is a photo of Emily and some of the cast and crew of Popped, enjoying the distinction of scariest film just after their win. Emily is so proud to have been a part of Placeholders Productions for this film, and hopes to work with them in the future!

I was also in that film festival. I had such a great time out there, in fact, I wish to be included in next year's as well. It is really refreshing to see the new generation making new ideas. I have noted a lot of potential and promising film makers that day. I plan on contacting some of them in hopes of making a collaboration. I am excited to be part of this revolution, I hope that I get to contribute.
