Nominated at Queen Palm Film Festival!

Wow, guys. Wow. Um, I have some news, and it's that I've been nominated for an award. Actually, TWO.

My super-feminist, super-funny web series REPRESENT has been making its rounds at festivals and getting selected and recognized by quite a few! Which is humbling in itself. One of our official selections came from the amazing Queen Palm International Film Festival! Earlier this year, my pilot script The Character won the silver for Best Dialogue at this festival, so I was pumped.

And then just yesterday, I got the news that this time around, I've been nominated for two awards: Best Writer - Web/TV Pilot and Best Actress - Web Series! HOLY MOLY, Y'ALL. This is a huge deal for me. I've been nominated for/received awards before, but to be honored in both the writing and acting categories? For the same project? Which has been my personal baby/true love/albatross for three years now? WHAT?! And possibly the best part is that my co-star and friend Jackie Dallas was also nominated in the Best Actress category!
