Casting News: Budding Prospects

This past week, Emily was cast in and shot her first television pilot!  Currently titled Budding Prospects, after the novel it is based on, the pilot was greenlit by Amazon and stars Adam Rose and Will Sasso, among others.  The 1980s comedy follows three friends who agree to get involved in a plot to farm marijuana, expecting it to be a rustic "summer camp."  In reality, it turns out to be more difficult and frustrating than they ever imagined.

Emily was cast in the small role of Tracy, an obnoxious punk who frequents the bar where one of the guys works.  Emily had an amazing time working with such incredibly talented people on this project, including director Terry Zwigoff, who also directed Ghost World and Bad Santa.  Keep checking back here for updates on the status of the pilot!
