A Kind of Murder opens in select theaters this weekend! The film, directed by Andy Goddard, is an adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel The Blunderer. IMDb summarizes: "Walter Stackhouse is rich, successful and unhappily married to the beautiful but damaged Clara. His desire to be free of her feeds his obsession with Kimmel, a man suspected of brutally murdering his own wife. But when Clara is found dead in suspicious circumstances, Walter's string of lies and his own guilty thoughts seem enough to condemn him. As his life becomes dangerously entwined with Kimmel's, a ruthless cop is increasingly convinced he has found a copycat killer in Walter and aims to nail both murderers." A Kind of Murder stars Patrick Wilson as Walter Stackhouse, Jessica Biel as Clara Stackhouse, Eddie Marsan as Kimmel and Haley Bennett as Ellie. Emily plays the role of Martha, Walter's secretary and Ellie's friend. A Kind of Murder is Emily's first major feature film. She had an incredible time making it with such talented artists, and she feels so fortunate to be able to share it! Below is a sneak peek featuring Emily as Martha. Be sure to see the rest of A Kind of Murder in theaters or On Demand! To find out where you can watch the film, visit the Magnolia Pictures website!

The first photo of Sloppy Seconds, created by Connor Tracy and Chase Kiefiuk, has been released! Sloppy Seconds is a webseries about Chris and Steve, two friends and former boyfriends who are forced to move in with each other when one is broken up with and the other loses his job. Through a search for roommates, they find Viv, a bohemian, and Tenley, a people-pleasing neurotic, and form a motley tribe. Emily plays Tenley, a social media coordinator who hides anxiety behind a carefully crafted, hyper-millenial exterior. Tenley's first appearance in the webseries can be seen below. Emily had an amazing time working with the Sloppy Seconds team and can't wait for it to be made available! The webseries is making its way through the editing process currently, and will be heading to the festival circuit after that.
