Emily's short film After was recently chosen as an official selection of the Pictoclik Women in Cinema showcase!

After follows two sisters, Kate and Natalie, who return to their childhood home several months after an epidemic decimates most of the population. Ostensibly, they are there to gather supplies to help them survive in the new world. But both are secretly searching for more.

Emily wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the horror/drama short, in which she appears alongside frequent collaborator Kimberly Hollkamp.  After was also chosen as an official selection of the Cardiff International Film Festival and the Fake Flesh Film Fest.

The short will screen with Pictoclik in San Francisco, as part of a program of several shorts by women filmmakers. Emily will be on hand for a Q&A portion after the screening.

The showcase will take place on August 26, 2018 in San Francisco, and After will be part of the 5:30pm program.  Tickets can be purchased on the Pictoclik website.
