Love and Information Closing

The final offering of the Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati season and the final show of Emily's career as an ETC Acting Intern closed on June 6, 2015.  After much hard work, dedication, and talent on the parts of the acting interns, Directing Apprentice Ben Raanan, and the entire Ensemble Theatre staff, Love and Information by Caryl Churchill enjoyed an extremely successful run as a special event in connection with the Cincinnati Fringe Festival.  The production, which featured 50 different stories and over 100 characters, showcased the versatility of each young actor and was even named a Cincinnati CityBeat Critic's Pick!  Below is a photo of all eight acting interns performing in the production, a memory that Emily will cherish now that the internship has ended.

Emily is thankful to have had such an incredible year with Ensemble Theatre, and to go out on such a high note makes the experience even more wonderful.  She is so thankful for the opportunity to grow as an artist with her fellow interns, a group of some of the most talented and loving people she's ever known.  Most of all, she is grateful to Producing Artistic Director D. Lynn Meyers, Director of Intern Programming Shannon Rae Lutz, and the rest of the Ensemble Theatre staff for creating a family and inviting her into it.  She will always think of ETC as home.

Emily will be performing with the 2014-2015 Acting Intern Company of Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati in Love and Information by Caryl Churchill this weekend!  This is the capstone performance of the ETC internship and a project that puts the hard work and unique talents of each young actor to the best possible use.  Presented as part of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, this regional premiere will open at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati on Thursday, June 4 and run for 3 nights only.  As described on the CincyFringe website:  "In this fast-moving kaleidoscope, more than a hundred characters try to make sense of what they know."  Emily plays various characters who are all trying to communicate and connect, in one way or another.  Emily could not be more ecstatic to showcase all she's learned in her incredible year working with Ensemble Theatre.  If you are in the Cincinnati area, buy your tickets for this extremely limited engagement as soon as you can!
