After a successful run of Hands On A Hardbody, exciting news has come up; Emily has been cast in Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati's next show, An Iliad! This one-man show is adapted from Homer's epic and tells the story of the Trojan War while simultaneously reflecting on war itself: what causes it, what it means, and what it says about human nature. In this production, Emily will play the Muse, whose presence appears onstage to assist the Poet, portrayed by acclaimed local actor Bruce Cromer, when he needs help telling the story. Emily's fellow acting intern, Deirdre Manning, will be portraying the Chorus as well. Emily could not be more ecstatic to have the honor of being cast in a show at ETC, and she can't wait to learn everything she can working with artists like Mr. Cromer and director Michael Evan Haney.
