This weekend, Emily teamed up again with MY Studios to film another short for a 3-Day Film Challenge. Back in October, Emily appeared in Popped, written by Teddy Ted and directed by May Yam, which premiered as part of the San Jose International Short Film Festival's Horror Genre Challenge and won the Audience Award. This time, the genre was Science Fiction, and again, the 6-minute film must be written, shot, and edited within the three-day time frame. With May Yam at the helm again and Teddy Ted writing the script, Emily and the rest of the team filmed Carrier Three, a science fiction short about three people who must go back in time to save the world. Below is a photo, taken by Ash Ahuja, of Emily as Erin, one of the three time-travelers. The MY Studios team is working on editing in the next two days and the final product will premiere at the IMAX theatre at the Tech Museum in San Jose on June 14th.
